TELEPHONE INTERVIEW PREPARATION

We are now offering a Telephonic Interview Preparation for all applicants. In most cases when someone puts in an application to migrate to New Zealand, Immigration New Zealand will conduct an interview and in most cases this is done by Telephone.

The Telephone Interview conducted by INZ is critical for an application to be successful and we have seen so many times when a poor Telephonic interview has resulted in the application being declined.

Neilson Immigration Consultants can conduct a dummy Telephonic Interview where we conduct the interview the same way INZ would and ask the same questions that they should be asking. After the Telephonic Interview Preparation, we will give the applicant feedback in how we thought the interview went and what answers were good, where work needs to be done and most importantly what answers were bad and in doing so would be detrimental to ones application.

The cost of the Telephonic Interview Preparation is NZD$ 600 which can be paid online via credit card, by bank deposit or by Western Union.

Telephonic Interview Preparations are Free to all clients of Neilson Immigration Consultants and is part of the service that we offer.

Telephonic Consultations

If you would like to have a consultation with an immigration adviser from Neilson Immigration Consultants but you do not live in New Zealand, we now offer Telephonic Consultations.

The cost of the one-off Telephonic Consultation is NZD$ 175 for 30 mins. You can pay online by Credit Card via our Online Services page which leads to a secure payment site. If you do not have a Credit Card, you can pay by either Bank Deposit or Western Union.

When we have received payment for the Telephonic Consultation, we will send you out a form so we can better understand your bio-data and will give you a more prepared and informed consultation. We will then arrange a time when it suits both parties the best. The Telephonic Consultations are a one-off and are designed to assess your eligibility to migrate or explore other options and are not for assisting in filing an application or filling out an EOI or answering on going questions about immigration matters. We can call some selected countries landlines for free or else the client must call us.

Telephonic Consultations are a great way for people who are not in New Zealand or who can not visit our office to talk to a Neilson Immigration immigration adviser for a one-off consultation.

New Zealand today  -  24 June, 2010

As of 24 June, 2010, the Unemployment figures have been released last month and there has been a big fall in the numbers from 7.1% unemployed to 6%. This means that the economic recovery is well on its way and also that the Reserve Bank will start to lift the Official Cash rate which has already started and is now 2.75%, which means that when interest rates will go up and also our dollar should get stronger.

When the OCR rises it usually means the NZ dollar rises and it now sits at NZD$ 1 - USD$ .72 which is lower than the high of NZD$ 1 - USD$ .82 which was just over 1 1/2 years ago. Our dollar is also at record highs against the GBP Sterling and now sits at NZD$ 1 - GBP .47. While historically our dollar usually sits at around the .60 USD  and around  GBP  .33 - .36.

The average wage is $ 47,000 a year and the minimum wage rose to $ 12.75 an hour on April 1 2010.

Inflation is now at 1.9% which is low as over the last 9 years under Labour, monetary policy was all about keeping inflation under 3%.

So overall with the Global Credit Crunch causing havoc around the world, we here in NZ while not immune, are in a much better shape than most to ride out the storm.

And best of all, you can still be part of the Kiwi dream.
